Anything Stone accepts direct orders from anywhere in North America. For shipping and other details, please review the attached Terms and Conditions. Also review the FAQ’s but feel free to call us with any questions.

Our goal is to insure your complete satisfaction with our products and services. We want you to refer your friends and associates to us. If for any reason you are dissatisfied with your order, please let us know. We will do everything possible to “make it right”.

To place an order call, e-mail, or fax:

• Call our office on our toll free number 1-866-708-6155 to speak with a Design Consultant.
   
• Email your requirements to us (See our Contact page). Send a picture and dimensions of the existing (if available) along with the products you are considering.
   
• Send a fax with your requirements (Fax 1-604-708-6166). To allow us to properly quote on your requirements, please print the Mantel Worksheet below. Include all measurements for the existing fireplace or from your building plans. Include any additional obstructions or requirements on the worksheet and fax to us at 604-708-6166. Include your name and contact information, along with the style of mantel you are interested in purchasing.
   
  If your firebox includes flat metal panels (C,D,E,F) please indicate if you do not wish these to be covered. Contact our office if you have any questions before completing this sheet, If you have a different style of firebox, please email/fax a photo and sketch showing critical dimensions.

Deposit
Once we have all the required information, we will send you a quotation. We then require a 50% deposit (payable by cheque, Visa or Mastercard). Upon receipt of payment we will begin production.

Colour/Finish Selection
If requested, upon receipt of your order we will send a sample of the finish to you. (Please see Terms and Conditions regarding acceptable colour and texture variations)

Delivery
Once your order has been completed, we will arrange for shipping. We will contact you prior to shipping to insure arrangements are made for off-loading.

Pricing
Prices are quoted in either Canadian ($CAD) or United States ($USD) depending on the country of sale. All prices are quoted net of taxes, freight, duty and brokerage.

Payment Terms
A 50% deposit payable by cheque, cash, Visa or Mastercard is required to schedule manufacturing of your order. The full balance is due prior to delivery/shipping.

Shipping
We will ship via common carrier from our production facility in Vancouver, B.C. at the best rates available to us. We can ship via any carrier specified but transportation charges must be paid by the purchasers directly. COD is available but all charges will be paid by the purchaser. Off-loading requirements are site specific and are the purchaser’s responsibility. Please ensure that all necessary equipment and personnel are on hand to unload shipment upon arrival. We can request a tailgate lift truck for residential delivery, however these are not always available. If the transport cannot deliver to the site, secondary delivery from the depot to the site will be required.

Color and Texture
All of our products are made by natural stones and as such, variation in texture, color and veining are inherent in the finished product. Each hand crafted piece will have its own unique characteristics. Our literature, photographs, and product samples should be used to provide a general indication of the final product however some variation is possible.

Samples
A sample of the colour/finish selection can be provided to you upon request at time of order. As noted above, colour and texture variation is inherent in the product and does not constitute a defect in manufacturing.

Damage in Transit
Please inspect all items upon receipt. Note the condition of the crating as well as checking for breakage or damage. All damage reports must be claimed immediately (usually within 5 days) with the carrier. Any damaged components will be shipped to you as soon as possible free of charge. A photo of the damaged components may be required to make a claim. Save all damaged components until advised by Anything Stone.

Installation
Our Installation crew is available to complete your natural stone project virtually anywhere in North America. Anything Stone can also provide installation instructions, technical drawings and materials required to have the installation completed by your own qualified trades-people. To insure satisfaction and the continued enjoyment of your mantel or range hood, we strongly recommended that you hire a professional that is confident and competent with the installation of your natural stone product. We will be happy to assist you in selecting a suitable installer in your area.

Warranty
All Anything Stone products are warranted against manufacturing defects for 5 years from date of installation. Anything Stone will replace any product that fails to perform as prescribed. All Anything Stone products are natural stone and each piece has unique colour and texture characteristics. Slight variation in colour and/or texture are not considered manufacturing defects. Damage caused by external sources is not covered under warranty. Failure to install the products according to the manufacturer’s recommendations will void warranty.
Any defective products will be replaced at no charge excluding shipping and installation (unless Anything Stone installed the product(s)). Replacement of defective product shall be the full extent of the warranty. Anything Stone will not be held responsible for any consequential damages relating to the product or installation.

How do I place an order?
Call our office toll free at 1-866-708-6155 to speak with one of our Design Consultants. Print the Measurement Worksheet from this website and fill in all known dimensions and data. If possible, fax it to our office at (604) 708-6166 prior to calling.

How much does a mantel cost?
The price for a fireplace mantel ranges from $500 to $4200. No extra charge for fill panels, no extra charge for hearth, no extra charge for crates. Only have additional charge for shipping and installation.

Are there additional costs?
A price quote will be provided showing the cost for all items including crating, shipping and taxes. Any duty, brokerage or taxes payable outside of Canada are not included in our quotation.

What if I can’t find a style I like?
Anything Stone has over 50 styles and 30 colours/textures to choose from. We can also customize a style by using different leg and mantel top combinations. Speak with our Design Consultants to determine which combinations will be suitable for you taste and application. Anything Stone is happy to design custom pieces as required on a quotation basis.

How long does it take from time of order to have it installed?
Anything Stone products are made to order except our standard mantel in stock. Orders are manufactured upon receipt of the deposit. Please allow 6 weeks plus shipping time to receive your mantel. This time may vary due to production demands. Let us know immediately if you require expedited production and well try to accommodate your request. Larger quantity orders may require additional lead time. Consult with your Sales Representative to confirm delivery dates.

Who can provide installation?
In the greater Vancouver area, Anything Stone has qualified installers on staff. Professional results will be achieved by trades offering quality trim and finish installation. Basic requirements include good carpentry and masonry skills. Most local General Contractors will have the necessary skills to provide installation or can recommend a suitable installer.
Anything Stone will happily assist in selection of a qualified installer in your area.

How is it installed?
Mantels are generally shipped in 3 or 4 pieces plus the hearth. An instruction booklet will be provided with your mantel. Our consultants are available to answer any questions you or your installers may have.

What about shipping? How much does shipping cost?
Shipping costs vary depending on the products ordered, distance and country. All products are shipped ex works from our manufacturing facility in Vancouver, BC. An estimate of shipping costs will be provided before ordering.

Are the products fireproof?
Anything Stone products are manufactured from a mix of non-combustible products and will not burn.

Can these mantels be installed with any type of firebox?
Yes. Our mantels will work beautifully with gas, electric or wood-burning fireplaces.

What is the warranty?
