Frequently Asked Questions
Can I cut food directly on my granite worktop?
You can cut on granite worktops but is harder than your knife blades and will dull them very quickly. We recommend that you do not cut directly on your worktop, always use a chopping board.
Can my granite top be damaged?
You cannot burn granite and it’s almost impossible to stain with ordinary use. We recommend that all spills are removed promptly to avoid the possibility of damage. Because of its crystalline structure granite can chip if subjected to sharp hard objects or high impact blows.
Will my stone look like the sample in the
brochure?
The samples you see in our brochure and on our website may not be 100% accurate due to variations in printing, computer monitors and compression algorithms. Stone is a natural material with naturally occurring variations in colour, tone and pattern even from the same quarry. These variations are expected and are the source of its natural beauty. |
